okay im new to this and im trying to get ringtones in the phone through the computer ..i have been reading about this stuff for a while and i cant figure out how to do it.. i got the moblie phone tools program from the internet and i have a usb cable that i used for my digtil camra which connects to the phone. now the program is not detecting my phone and instlizing it.... can some one help!!!!please...

what version of MPT do you have? for V3 to be recognized, you'll need 3.11h.
also do you have drivers needed?

that is the version i do have.... and i also have on another computer ver 3.2... on either one the phone does not connect with the program.. i did have my phone unlocked thinking that was the problem of not connecting. i dont know about the drivers. i thought that installing the program would give me the right drivers and device to play with the phone on the computer!!!

Then it's a driver issue for your phone, you'll need to get the V3 drivers and install them. The program doesn't really include the drivers for your V3 - that should have came w the phone when you purchased it, however like in my case all I got was the phone, so I was left to scour google for the drivers..

would you by any chance be able to send me the drivers???because all i got with the phone is the phone and a couple of little things there was no drivers for it...or 2 find them what do i type into google!!!

i got it thank you very much!!! now i dont want to be bothering you but i want to put video enabling on my phone!!! i started to read up on it but im kinda scared to play around with it to much but i still really want video on it... can u direct me in the right way!!!
