I just recieved my new Motorola Razr in the mail yesterday (T-Mobile), and a few days ago while I was reading some reviews, I read from someone that you can record a song or voice using voice record, and set it as your ringtone. Now, I don't know how to do that. I know how to get to the voice record and everything, but I don't know how to set it as a ringtone, and I'd really like to be able to do that. My friend has a Nokia 6230, and her recordings work great as ringtones. Thanks if you're able to help!

You cannot set a voice record as a ringtone on the V3 through the menu functions. To do it you need a data cable and software and if you have a data cable you would be better to make tones out of Mp3's as they will sound much better.

Get a USB cable (data cables from service providers are WAY overpriced) from best buy.

You can get Mobile Phone Tools on EBay--comes with the cable.

Buy MPT off ebay, use cable from digital camera, psp, mp3 player (anything that has the right type of mini usb). I believe there is information in the motorola tutorial section.
