Seeing as the phone won't turn on, even RSD lite will not see it. By the way, why is RSD lite better than Multiflexflash? It looks like an old version of it MFF.

..... or remove the battery, then
While pressing * and # at the same time, put the battery back in. Make sure the USB cable is NOT plugged up before you put the battery in. This should boot the phone in BL mode. If not, see Old_Fool above for BL boot.
YOUR SCREEN MAY NOT SHOW ANYTHING!! Dont worry. Just plug up the phone and you should see either S BLANK.... or S Flash .....

Sorry, I learned that from a teacher when I was going through EE. When troubleshooting, never assume that a person knows anything. Assuming makes an ASS out of U and ME! Always ask the question.

I am guilty of ASSUming. I read in the instructions that the phone would be charged by the USB port IF it was above a certain voltage.
I suspected the phone might be discharged so I plugged it into the charger and nothing happened, usually it beeps. That's when I ASSUmed I had killed the phone.
The battery was so dead that I the dealer had to leave it plugged in for a minute before he could power it up.
BUT the good news is that when I brought it back to Rogers and they had a $99.00 promotion that started Nov 1st on the phone that I just paid $300.00 for on OCT 28th.
Guess what? They gave me a $200.00 refund!!! What a great bunch of guys!!!
So the moral of the story is that while I look like a moron at least I am $200.00 richer, not too shabby eh?
