You need MPT. If you have MPT and it recognizes your phone and you still are having problems there is two p2kman versions available here: http://www.motoaide.com:8081/download.htm

Make sure that you can get into the multimedia section of MPT, sounds like there is a problem with that driver. If you cant get into multimedia>mobile explorer then you need to go into your modem and phone properties under control panel delete the usb modem and scan for new hardware, reinstall driver then close MPT and reopen p2kman (make sure that MPT isnt running, even in the background when you try to connect to p2kman).

I had to install PST and its drivers b4 I could make p2kman work.

Yup, MPT has its driver, which is the Modem driver. After that with P2k programs you must install the necessary P2k drivers.

I hope most of you know that almost every p2kprogram comes with the drivers needed instead of installing PST. Just a tip.
