Hi there

I have V2CDXWC3 firmware on my V200. By reading Don's instructions I backed up my firmware. It was successful. The verification also was successful icon_smile.gif I then tried to upgrade to F3. As soon as I press flash, I get an error "Sorry, an error has occured! [ERROR_WRONG_LOADERFILE]" icon_sad.gif Can anybody help me out. Don maybe you can help me. This is the first time I am flashing.
I am using optiflash 3.3.0.8.
After the successful verification of my previous firmware I followed these steps. Kindly help me if I have gone wrong somewhere...

1. Removed my V200 from the data cable and removed the battery for 10 secs.

2. In optiflash in Options tab in the Settings menu selected the "Flash & Verify" tab.

3. Selected "V20BDXF3.sre" from the desktop. Pressed OK.

4. Connected my V200 to the data cable. Pressed flash. Immediately I got the error mentioned above.

How do I upgrade? Pl. help me.
However my phone is working fine right now icon_smile.gif

Maybe its the path name or something. Move the file from desktop to C:\V20BDXF3.sre than close Optiflash reopen it and go to File>Open and go to C:\

If still gives an error try flashing your backedup file if it works there is somthing wrong with V20BDXF3.sre .

I downloaded optiflash 3.3 and then opened "sceptre3_sgh_hw4_v200.sre" from the optiflash 3.6 models folder in the generic tab\ specify flash loader field.

As for disabling the de-bugging, when i get to power on mobile, the log only ecords things when i remove the cable from the phone- like in reverse to what it should be - i think its all broken. The phone is totally dead!

optiflash3.6\models\ - and there it is. I tried this when i got the error wrong header file message, but it didnt solve the error_Verify_difference thing.

I think the phone is dead, like the south african scorpius bloke and someone else in earlier messages - i'll have to change it with the SP. to be honest doe'nt make me feel confiedent about trying it again, maybe its something to do with Windows ME - not a good set up. The datalink cable seems to affects windows operations now as well - keeps freezing up things like the mouse and apps.

Take a look at my settings:
Generic Tab
Comport Tab
Flash & Verify Tab
Read Tab

At Flash And Verify dont select sceptre3_sgh_hw4_v200.sre select the file you want to flash to your phone.
