No conflicts reported by device manager. I use(d) easygprs with the cable on that port - all fine.

Did you try this method
| jdeviance wrote: | hello,
thanx for the replies,
and i finally got it to work, damn that scared a sht out of me.
the way i did it may sound very very awkward but,
i'm 100 percent sure that when tried putting in a battery and try turning
the phone on just like the normal way did not work at all for me, because
of the phone keep asking me to power on the mobil which i couldn't do.
so here's what i did,
1. i pluged the data cable while the battery is only half attached,
and when the optiflash asked for the power, i just slided the battery up,
and the flash thing started by itself , i didn't have to press the power button.
2. flashing got done, back to f3, now i appriciate my phone
again this might sound stupid/dumb/watever,
and i still don't know if this was the primary solution or whatnot.
but it saved me from a long night agony. |

I have a replacement phone coming tomorrow, so i don't really want to be stuck with some glitzy F5 on the phone that's meant to be broken - if you see what i mean.
I'm going to buy a new data cable, would a USB be better\ok?

I am still not able to flash F3 on to my V200. I tried putting the file under C: but it did not work. Also I tried flashing my saved Firmware, again no use. Gives the same error "ERROR_WRONG_LOADERFILE". I am using Optiflash 3.3.0.8 on Win2K.
If you think there's some problem in F3 firmware, where can I download it again. I downloaded it from blue boy's site...

It has started flashing. Do I have to punch in any codes after flashing. The link "http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic3126.html" says so.
