Man I remember when I had this problem!!! Dont bother calling your sevice provider or motorola. All they will tell you is that its called "cosmetic damage" and that is not covered under warranty. Now the solution that found out to do is, I bought a V3c lens replacement (the black chrome, the V3c has a different screen its thicker and looks better on the V3 black version). I still get dust under the screen but its only a couple of speckles here and there(cant even tell its there unless you look at it in the sun, then you can see everything!!) But compared to the original v3 screen the V3c screen works the best. Go to www.CNN.CN they have almost everything for a Razr phone and their cheap and have fast shipping.
