When I try to verify a firmware in Optiflash 3.3 I get an error message saying ' sorry, an error has occured! (ERROR_BAD_SREC_ADDR).

This seems to happen with all the firmwares I try it with.

Any ideas???

Thanks guys icon_smile.gif

I may aswell try upgrading my computer to Win 2000, I cant se it making much of a difference though. Once Ive finished upgrading I'll post the web address of a simple site Ive just created where you will be able to downlaod the full version of Samsung DIY. Hooray!!

I got a tip for you. Try making an SRE file instead of S3. Just now I was trying to flash my phone and I got the same error but then I made an SRE file. and also i was doing things with the ringtones and not the whole phone firmware.

Also try redownloading the firmware or recreating it. Delete the previous on first though.
