copying the file onto your phone is NOT how you flash it, btw those firmware files are about 35mb a piece - so no way they'll fit on your phone.
You need to get a flashing program, I use FlashBackup 2.62 by Random (any version would probably work) Search it on google and you can find a link to it. The GUI is user friendly and self-explanatory.

the links provided here are not working. can someone please direct me to ones that work. got p2k need the unlocking tool and drivers and flash for 364.

I have a Motorola V180 from Cingular and i would like to unlock it and i would use the p2k method it seems easy but the unlock software posted there it doesnt exist
