I was talking cross purposes a little - the folder I mentioned is for using a p2k program and a USB cable.
The original post in this thread means to use the phones browser to go to the upload site

I did use the phone's browser, and when I clicked on download, the file played, but that was it. I can't find where it downloaded to. The only options on the screen was play and options, which just had the standard browser options.

If you use a p2k program to transfer a mp3 to the V3 you need to delete the 2 .db files and restart the phone

hey
I just got my Motorola V3 a couple of days ago and I am still getting used to it. But i don't know how to put an MP3 ring tune on my phone I would rather not go on the internet on my cell phone because it is really expensive for me on the plan that I am on. Is there anyway to use BLUETOOTH? or something else PLEASE HELP ME

Use MPT or Mobiledit (www.mobiledit.com)
Alternatively you can use p2k programs with a little more effort
Or using bluetooth its just an obex transfer

You misunderstand me - p2k won't work with bluetooth
For bluetooth its just OBEX
I recommend you get MPT or mobiledit (www.mobiledit.com) and a cable though personally
