The best program I've found to do this with is "ToneThis".you can download the program from the net to your PC. It's a simple program that allows you to pull any song from your PC and crop out a section (it will let you know what's too large) and when you are through.you got the sound you want.it sends it directly to your phone. You do not have to use your phone to access the net. You may be charged for the Pix msg that you receive, depending upon your plan, but at the most, that's probably 25 cents per.
When you download the program, you will set up your "profile" and that's where you tell it what phone you have, what your number is and who your carrier is. That's it, you're done. Browse for your song you want to use, crop it, and upload. Simple.
I do have a question tho.I've got about 20 or so mp3 ringtones on my phone and they show up in the "sounds" listing, but when I go to send a sound to a friend's phone, there are MAYBE 5 showing in the list. Where are the rest of them? I know they are there, but they are not in the listing for me to send them. I just installed the additional memory, but haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet. Might need some help with that too.
If you can help.thanks!

Im having issues with my mp3 ringtones saving as qcp files. I have always used audacity and funformobile to make and send them to myself and it has always worked fine. I even tried sending ringtones that I have now (and work fine) and they are doing the same thing of saving as a qcp. When I recieve them they are mp3 so I know that part is ok. Does the Razr have a certain limit of mp3 ringtones it can handle OR is there a setting that maybe I accidently changed?
Any help would be appreciated before I drive myself nuts

You can use MPT or mobiledit or you can use p2k programs for free with a little more effort
