Hi all,

I looked through past threads, but did not see a discussion on this topic... Sorry if I missed one (if it were there).

As most of you know, Motorola has a proprietary "mini-usb" socket which must be used for a wired headset. I really hate bluetooth icon_wacko.gif , so have been very happy (on my previous mobile phone) with a "noise reduction" wired headset I got from Shure (The folks who make microphones). The Shure headsest has a 2.5mm plug.

I've searched high and low on the web and can not find anyone who makes an adapter I can use to match the 2.5mm plug on the headset with the mini usb on the V3. I found one guy who shows how to make one, but the "adapter box" ends up being as big as the phone itself!

Does anyone out there know where I can get such an adapter? I can not be the only one out there who shuns the "bluetooth hassle" and wants to use a quality 2.5mm wired headset.

Thanks everyone! icon_rolleyes.gif

The guy on ebay who was selling them stopped. Does anyone have another source for this adapter besides that yahoo store for $40?
Thanks.
