Hi,
I just got SGH X495 from US (I am in Canada), and it branded for T-Mobile. What I need to do apply my provider's firmware (Rogers) or any general firmware for this phone, cause everything is preset for T-Mobile.
If I need to flash the phone what I need and where to get that?
I am able to make calls and send SMS, but I would like to remove T-Mobile portion of software.
Thanks,
Alex......

Check the following link. Rogers doesn't seem to have X495. Hence I doubt if such firmware is available at all. Is the T-Mobile logo bothers you or you have other problem such as getting the WAP and MMS setting for Rogers?

I am not bothered with T-Mobile logo, just my WAP is down, and I beleive my MMS also. So I would need some generic firmware for X495.

That probably is because the phone still has T-Mobile WAP and MMS settings. Just change the WAP and MMS profile setting and you should be able to access WAP and MMS. Belows are the WAP and MMS Profile settings in my E316 for your reference:
** MMS Profile setting **
Profile Name: Rogers Wireless
Connnection url: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Security: Secure
IP Address: 172.25.0.107
User Name: media
Password: * Just leave it blank
APN: media.com
** WAP Profile setting **
Profile Name: RW WAP
HOmepage URL: http://to5vdb.int.gprs.rogers.com:8582/start.wml
Security: Secure
Bearer: GPRS
IP Address: 172.25.0.107
User Name: wapuser1
Password: * Just leave it blank
APN: goam.com
I have not verified the above setting so in case of any problem, you should call Rogers and ask them for the correct settings.

That is my issue!
I don't see any possible place I can enter these info in X495!
I went through all possible menu options, and simply there is no place to specify these settings.
Do I miss maybe something?

I think I understand your problem now. T-Mobile's firmware purposely hide the profile settings. I found the following thread that talks about some hidden code which allows you to change the profile, check the last post:

Hope it works! If not, you have to find an unbranded firmware and make sure it is an unlocked one.
