I just got my black unlocked razr today (using it with tmobile) and i have to say I'm really pleased--it worked right out of the box! I sent the MMS and WAP settings--perfect! Received my first call on it--perfect!
However, I am a little worried about the charging. It's apparently a phone manufactured in Singapore, so it came with a charger that isn't US, but came with the US travel adaptor that fits onto it. I've been charging it for about 6 hours now, and it shows full status, and does not appear to be charging any longer, because when I unplug it and then replug it back in, it says "Charging" for a second, then that goes away, because the battery status indicator is full (3 bars).
Does this mean it is charged? Since it is the first time I've used it, should it continue to be plugged in because of the whole battery-memory thing? Or should I be concerned about voltage?
I have to say, this is the sexiest phone I've ever had, and I've had a lot.

It should be OK. In most cases, the travel charger should be 110v-240v auto adaptive. (it should be printed in your charger what voltage applies). Since you are suppose to be able to carry your phone flying around the word.
For a new phone, the best thing to do with the battery is to charge it about 10 hours, use the battery completely up, and recharge it overnight. That will max the battery capacity. Samething for laptop battries.
Good luck and enjoy your phone. It's a nice one.

Yeah here's the weird thing: It says "Charging" with a flashing battery light WHEN i plug it into my USB port on my computer, as if to run mpt.
BUT when I plug it in to the charger, it doesn't make any noise or any indication--so I think it really is not charging.
I've called the place I got it from, and when they reopen monday they'll begin the process to send me a new charger, and I'll return this one just in case. it might be the travel adaptor, or the charger itself, but i'm not taking any chances, i'm returning both back for exchange.
Random q-- i've searched everywhere--is MPT not available for mac? I'd love to use my mac on it, which has all my mp3's & bluetooth, but can't seem to find it. I have the MPT software cd but that's only windows.
