I first installed the cd..Then plugged in the USB cable with my V551..Windows could not find the driver..Any help with the install?

First of all what 's version of MPT do you have?? if not 3.25b do live upgrade.
When win ask for driver choose advance option so that you can manualy directed to the MPT folder. Sample C:\program\mpt\inf
all the driver are in inf

does the V551 have to be unlocked to run mobile tools..

where do I find Load Drivers screen or should I uninstall and reinstall the program?..I have 4 USB slots..Should a certain one be used with the data link cable?

Do not use the front USB.
try to un install then re boot then re install it
