Is it possible to make a 6101 run on a DKU-2 cable rather than a DKU-5 cable? As far as I can conclude..no...but any possible and proven yeses are very much appreciated, thanks.

Fixing it? What do you need the cable for?
Maybe IrDA would be a nice solution... fits for many phones

Well fixing it is done, she broke the flex cable, i replaced now it works, at first she just wanted to download all her pics ringtones, and backup phonebook then have the insurance replace, but now its fixed she doesn't really worry about any of the whole thing. IRda woul be a nice thing just to have, the whole IRda and BT thing are great. No strings attached literally.
