I know I am writing this many months after the last one but it had my attention - the scariest movie I have ever seen was The Deliverance. It is a very old movie but it makes you afraid to stop or make eye contact with anyone when you go through those small, out in the boondock places. Especially when you are going to a new place and pass thru many small towns. Kind of like a Children of the Corn thing. I saw Deliverance a very long time ago and I still have a hard time getting out of my car at night without someone watching me. I live in the country and get chills looking at the trees in the woods across from my house. I can not go to the barn after dark either. Lights or not....

I like those places when you're in a group. I used to be in that type of setting in my jungle warfare training. But yeah, if you think about it, it can be scary if you're alone.
My cousin was left in a cemetary plot overnight when he was little kid because my uncle thought that he was a fairy. But my cousin didn't turn out gay. But he said that he heard voices...he didn't want to see so he just ducked and covered his head until the early morning.
I like scary movies, so I can't think of one that really scared me. I did think that the Exorcism of Emily Rose was interesting.

when i was younger, we were always told that if we looked in a mirror and said something 3 times, we would see a dead person with blood and stuff all over. i think it was Virginia Woolf. We have a couple of places where i live that you are supposed to hear mothers crying out for their children who were killed in bizarre accidents. the town is very small with one way in and one way out. it is dark and lined with pecan trees that form almost a tunnel. i also do not like going thru LA. after dark. And the whole Norman Bates thing freaks me out. Last but not least, the little town I live in (actually it is a township named after the family who owned most of the land out here) is supposed to have an animal cemetary that if you pull up to it at dark you are supposed to hear the animals all crying out. I have not been able to find it yet but I hope to find it someday. I am going to scare myself so bad now, I will not be able to come out of this room unless someone wakes up and turns the lights on for me!
