The Grudge gave me some decent shocks, but I have not been impressed by most of what Hollywood calls Horror.
The Exorcist, when I was a kid, was perhaps the scariest thing behind one other movie: Evil Dead. As a kid, that movie was the scariest thing I can remember. Now, I watch it for fun. Wierd.

Rockey Horror Picture Show made me squrm
The Grudge made me jump too but most new horror movies are not that good
