"Signs" was quite scary... they messed with my mind... I saw the movie durring daytime... and was quite scared... the same evening I saw "Jeepers Creepers" in the dark... and wasn't scared as hell...
For several years "Alien" was my personal scariest movie... could be because I saw it first time when I was 8 or so  saw it again when I was 19 and didn't had a problem with it

I downloaded a version of signs about a week before it was released, it was way better than the released version. For example, when the kid was on top of the vehicle with the baby monitor, In the theater i just heard some random clicks comming from it. On the version I downloaded, it was the creepiest noise I've ever heard. It was like a mix between a baby crying, nails on chalkboard, and an angry T-Rex....

E.T. I was just a kid when I first saw this. ET sitting in the river all white and gross, or in the cornfield when he freaked out the kids, really creeped me out. I actually had recurring nightmares about this guy.. hehe. Yeah, i'm a wuss.
The rock giant in the Never Ending Story scared the crap outta me too
