What's the latest version of the Orange branded D500E firmware? If you have an Orange branded D500E, please post your S/W, H/W, and firmware versions and dates and if you have voice dialing / commands and the sidebar.

I bought mine from Mobilebee.com here in the USA. It doesn't have voice dialing either.

Good news for anyone that likes the sidebar from the Orange firmware. I found a newer firmware version than the one I originally had. The version of this new firmware is D500EBVEF2. It has the sidebar / shortcut bar from the Orange branded firmware, but that's the only sign of the Orange firmware you'll see in it (besides the preset bookmarks, which can be deleted). The startup and shutdown animations are the same as in the original, unbranded D500 firmware. If you want this firmware, just ask here and I'll email it to you.

Hey iG, i dont know how old this post is cos i forgot to look but that firmware is EXACTLY what iv been looking for and would really appreciate it if you could email it to me, thanks! and could anyone who knows how to flash a D500 pretty well add me to MSN aswell!? thanks!

i've flashed my d500e so it would work O2 ( it was an orange phone ) but miss the orange style sidebar. if this firmware will work an ex-orange phone then can you send me a copy please. i've got a merten firmware at the moment and am not happy with it. thanks..

Thanks everyone for the brilliant help so far, I have just debranded an Orange D500 then I flashed it to a D500E but no voice dialing. Any assistance would be much appreciated!
