Do you have BL version 8.26. If so, you can't do anything with it until you downgrade to 8.23.

There is an entire section on the downgrade. Bottom line is, if you dont have a smart clip, you will have to send it to someone who does.

I can do it if you are intersted. E-mail if interested.

Good luck

turn off the phone.
press * and # at the same time while turning on the phone
the screen that comes up is the flash or bootloader screen.

It should say Bootloader version 8.2x. It will also say your software version.

I don't think that the bootloader has anything to do with opening the MMF. I have BL 8.23 and i keep receiving the same message every time i try to open MMF. As soon as i hit 'ok' MMF opens and i can see my phone connected.I was able to flex my phone with Vodafones flex but i cannot flash it. i keep receiving the "The application is not initialized! (Flash Tool / Super File) icon_confused.gif icon_confused.gif

Try opening multiflash program by right clicking on phone programmer
go into propperties ,click on find target ,a whole load of files will open up,scroll down to multi flash icon and click into that...
Pst/multiflash will only work if youve patched it...

Silly me!! I misunderstood your problem!! Sorry,

you need to get the unipatch for PST and load it. Should clear this up. Sorry again,

I suggest a program called RSD Lite. It is alot easier to use and gives a bit more information on the phone. You can google for it. Good luck.

The same thing still applies to 8.26 though.
