Re-Flashing on new Rogers V3

yeah email me your 004a_0001, 0061_0001, 0062_0001 seems and a screen shot of p2kman with the cl.gif in the system directory and I will tell you whats wrong.

p.s. the attribute is 4 not 44

Hey there... I was following what you have been saying throughout this topic, and I've run into the same problem that jthansen did with the problem of changing the logo on the outside of the phone. I've updated firwmare of the phone to 42.0; I've used MotoX's Unbranding suite, and I've checked the 004a_0001 seem to see if 27 is set to 00 (which it is). Do you remember what you had to do to get the fix to work on his phone? It would really be apppreciated to a noob if you could help.

basically, i reflashed and reflexed my rogers v3 with this:

S/W Version: R374_G_0E.42.0CR.shx
Flex Version: SE8615MBXXH1121
New Bootloader: BOOT0826
Language Pack: 0039
Video Recording: Capable
Stock Moto/Unlocked

and it changed everything to italian language and my phone now says, "Flex Error:phone/subsidy locked" when i start it up. how do i get it back to a rogers flex and flash it to the most recent upgrade? i keep getting drop outs to "emergency only" about once a day and my predictive text is in italian.

Get rid of flex error (go to the motorola talk forum and look at the sticky about moding and repairing your phone).

To change predictive text to English menu>messages>create messages>new text msg>menu>entry setup>primary setup>iTAP English.

yes, thankyou xXxSamsungxXx, that got rid of the flex error, and my predictive text. thankyou. now, my only question is...my reception sucks with rogers now...well...at least not as good as it was. i still keep getting dropouts to "emergency only". i don't think my phone is unlocked...does this matter? if i do unlock it, will it work as well? also, did the flex/flash that i did make it this way? what is the easiest solution? reflash with a better monster pack more suited for my rogers canadian network or unlock my phone? please help.

Unlocking will not resolve this issue. I noticed a reception increase when I flashed with 42.0DR from MotoX.

I got my razr about one month ago and i was somewhat unpleased with it at first. However, after making it louder, being able to upload skins and jar files and pretty much everything else p2k can do, i absolutely love the phone. There's just one thing i haven't been able to figure out yet. I tried changing the cl.gif file with both p2kman and p2ktools. I did everything that was recommended on this site. I changed offset 27 to 00 on the 004a_0001 seem, but it still only displays the moto logo, even if i deleted the picture from the phone's system file. I really don't know what to do at this point. I tried doing an edit on the 0061_0001 and 0062_0001 seems but there is no mention of cl.gif in the file. It only says "r o g e r s". Can anybody help me out with this? I would really appreciate it because this is the only thing i can't seem to do with my phone.

Ok so i figured out how to change the outer lcd pic but now i can't use any of my multimedia programs to view my pics or listen to my sound files. also, my phone doesnt notify me anymore when i have new voicemail. Does anybody have any idea how i can fix this?

Where are you in Canada?? if you are near me I have a AT&T sim card you could test it with. If it needs unlocking I would talk to old fool he can do it for the cost of round shipping.
