Hi, newbie here looking for some help please.
I'v managed to borrow a USB datacable for my T300 but can't get my PC to see the phone. I've installed drivers for the USB to serial connection and the PC is "seeing" the cable when connected. I've downloaded Mobile monitor and installed this but all I get is an icon on the desktop for "Mobile modem settings" and when I click on this I just get a message saying "No modem with HSCD capabilities installed".
Tried to find some instructions on what to do but google failed me badly

Mobile Phone Monitor is a kind of driver for your PC to connect.
You should use a program like Sendfile to transfer stuff to your phone. From christersson.org

But the poor fellow already downloaded that! And it didn't work! I have had the same prob with my data cable too, and couldn't solve it.

I think I may need to install modem drivers for the phone but the Ericcson site is down. Anyone know where else I might be able to D/L them?

HELP |
1. Download and install 'Mobile Phone Monitor' from www.sonyericsson.com.
2. When installed, DON'T run it.
3. Run the 'modem setup wizard' and set up your phone as a 'standard modem' on your PC with the phone connected.
4. Run 'Mobile Phone Monitor' if you want to (but you don't need to) and change name settings etc. Ignore any warnings about HSCD capabilities etc as it doesn't matter.
5. Download and install 'Sendfile2' from www.christersson.org.
6. Connect your phone using the data cable.
7. Wait at least 30 seconds then run 'Sendfile2'.
8. Now you should be able to select anything and send it to your phone.
Hope this helps. Worked for me.

Hi gopinath89..
I was unable to locate the drivers for T310 in the global support area of Sonyericsson.com. Only Modem Scripts for IR, and a dial-up suite are present on the site. Could you please email the drivers to me at any of the following id's : saurabh.mittal@6dtechnologies.com , stmittal@yahoo.com

And you need to go to the Phone Monitor Settings in the Configuration Screen.
Enable the ports u need and use Sendfile.
