Well I got the nerve to edit the seems on my cingular black razor to enable the video...worked like a charm and I didnt even need to back up anything on my phone (I'm just saavy like that). Anyway, want to work on the funlights now. Started to do it, then got stuck on these 2 issues.

offset 63 bit 2 [checked]....(Is this while using P2K, if so, where is it)

Upload FUNLIGHT to /a/mobile/audio/ folder with p2kman (or equivalent program)....(Have the funlight file, is this just a simple PC TO PHONE command?)

Cheers in advance

Its SEEM 0032_0001 Offset 63

[checked] means to set it to 1 (it just depends what program you are using how it is represented)

You need to download a new funlight.pat file and use that to overwrite the existing file on your phone

I am using P2KMan (I think thats what its called). So how do I see that the offset is set to 1 or what do I need to do?

I do have the Funlights update, I assume I just upload it via PC to Phone button right (into the referenced directory).

Thanks again

It sounds like you need to check the How To: SEEM Edit guide .

To transfer the file - yes you are correct - but sometimes you need to delete the current file first, so delete the file, transfer the new one then reboot the phone

How is "offset 63 bit 2 [checked]...." represented in P2KMan?

p2kman is only used to transfer seems for editing by other programs - its not represented at all in p2kman.

If you have a look at the guide I mentioned it should become clearer. If not post either in that guide or in the main motorola talk forum.

Ok, so V3i, i have done it all! I have ringligts and rythm lights working perfect!! They work very well! Eventlights, now that i can not even get to show on my menu in ring styles.
Is there something else i am missing?

another seemedit? I use P2Ktools to do all my seemedits and have been successful! I tried pkae and motokit.

How to enable it:
1. Seem 0032_0001 offset 65 -bit 0 [checked]
2. Menu>settings>ring styles>event lights
There is the directions i followed. And that bit "0" was already checked. Yes i have installed the "good" funlight.pat It works great in the other two features. Just can not get it to show in the menu. It is installed in the a/mobil/audio and in c/mobile/audio... for some reason i have read to do it in both......

got to be something i am missing?

Also i have done:
offset 63 bit 2 checked
offset 63 bit 3 checked
offset 59 bit 1 checked

i think it is available in the v3i? Maybe not?

"Its installed" refers to the funlight.pat file... icon_smile.gif

There is only the seem edits 0032_0001 offset 65 -bit 0 to get the option in the menu - check you have done that correctly.

I've not got a v3i so I can't check it works on the v3i.

Incidentally offset 59 bit 1 checked should be bit 3 checked

Mikeyway,
You are right, it is bit 3 checked.. my typo! icon_smile.gif
They are checked all corectly! I am wondering if there is something else not enabled? I do see new shot mesg, new multmedia under my message area.
I have been screwing with it for a while now! LOL Done so much with p2ktools it is awsome! So i am very good around with that and seem editing! So i know i am flawless there... (if i could just fix my typo's icon_smile.gif)

can you refrence me to another mod or techy you know? On 3 forums and have yet to figure it out!

Under ring styles, i see:

Style: loud
Loud detail:
Ring Lights: passion

now it would show up right under ring lights?

Do i need to enable it through the mma_ucp / mma_dcp? icon_sad.gif icon_sad.gif
