Just thought i'd give you guys a little tip, I just bought the VX8100 and I happen to know the sales guy at Verizon who I bought the phone from. What he told me, is that he just found out in some training class and he wasn't supposed to tell me this, that in the near future the 8100's will have new software which will only allow them to play MP3's downloaded from Verizon's pay Mp3 service. He said if you already own the phone you will be ok because the new software isn't released yet But.. what he said is to not let Verizon do any software upgrades on your phone because it will make all your Mp3's unplayable. Just thought i'd share with you guys since i'm sure one of the big reasons you bought this phone was for the Mp3 player.

I head the opposite - that yes, the current version of software enables the mp3 playing and all - but the newer software not yet released will enable more functionality w/mp3's...
