Hi i am living in Ireland, my son gave me his LG 8120 that was locked to the UK3 network i have had it unlocked and my vodafone.ie sim works for texting and calling. Can anyone help with the settings for Ireland to use this phone to its full protential.

Hi have done that vodafone don't support this model, if it was a nokia it would be fine.

the network settings themselves should be the same regardless of the phone being used.

Thats what i thought, but you need some authorisation code and that hand set they don't support. I think because it isn't there phone they can't be bothered. thats why i am looking for the settings to try it manually myself
