That usually means that another device is conflicting with your com port. Go to control panel, system and then hardware profiles or device manager (depending on what version of Windows you use) - your com port should have a '!' next to it. Go to the resources tab, and uncheck the use automatic settings box (so that you can enter your own settings). Then select interrupt request and click on change setting and select one that doesnt conflict with anything else (it will tell you as go through each setting). Then restart your computer. That should work.

You still never mentioned which cable you are using..

Its been our experience that MANY of the aftermarket cables WORK to flash but do NOT work for EasyGprs.
You either need a OEM cable or your best bet is to get yourself a USB - IRDA adapter than your good for MANY MANY types of phones.

Then the cable is good for Unlocking and Flashing and thats about it. I dont know of ANY other software for Samsung phones.

I take that back there is another but it requires 'a cable from them'

Just get yourself a irda adapter you can use it for Laptops,Palm pilots, Printers + many cell phones..

Yeah man i bought that same cable from eforcity and it will only work for flashing....I know it sucks because part of there advertisement says that it will work for downloading ringtones and wallpapers....But take my word for it, it will not work....Get an IRDA usb adapter and it will work...They are fairly cheap...Have a look around icon_biggrin.gif
