Can any1 tell me what i have to do in order to transfer ringtones and wallpapers to the phone with Easy GPRS? I have the usb cable and had the driver installed, but when I run the software it wont let me click many buttons...(melody compose, melody to phone, image to phone...etc). Also when I connect the phone to the usb port, nothing shows up in the system tray or indicates that it has found new hardware (since the first time when I had installed the driver).

Does EasyGPRS show offline instead of your phone's model? If so, it could be that it is not setup properly or the usb driver is not correct or even an incompatible cable. Press F1 within EasyGPRS and check how to setup. Check Device Manager to make sure the driver is installed properly and note the COM port as assigned to the cable, you need that information for EasyGPRS setup. If you see "!" or "?" in Device Manager, that means the driver is either not installed properly or a wrong driver is used. In the worst case, you may have the wrong cable. Check if your cable is compatible to E105.

I think I found out what the problem was:

USB Driver is included. Driver configures the computer's COM port 4 (COM4) to be a USB port so that EasyGPRS can be used with the cable.
Note: EasyGPRS does not allow or recognize a USB connection; however, this data cable will configure the computer's COM4 to be a USB port. After installing USB driver, choose COM4 as your connection in EasyGPRS.

But EasyGPRS only lets me choose COM1,COM3 or COM5. Now what should I do?

Check modem and see if Samsung GPRS modem is there and whether it is using COM4? Is there any label on the cable and what is marked on the label? I have a feeling that you may have a wrong cable.

Sounds like you got the right cable as X426 cable is compatible to E105. It is weird that COM4 is assigned to USB cable but it is not available in EasyGPRS. Which version of EasyGPRS are you using? Is it 2.1.8? By the way, have you installed Samsung GPRS modem? Some people has problem with EasyGPRS not recognizing the phone without installing GPRS modem. You can also try PC Studio PIMS from Samsung:

http://www.samsung.com/search/search.asp?charset=utf-8&ht=0&qp=&qs=&qc =&pw=755&ws=1&la=en&qm=0&st=1&nh=10&lk=1&rf=0&rq=0&si=0&ct=None&oct=&o q=%0D%0A&fs=&oqqtex=E105&bqt=E105&th=0&ts=1&selradio_temp=&qt=E105&tab page=3&radio=1&col=download&select=0

If it still doesn't work, suggest you try another computer.

I don't think the modem is installed. How do I install the modem? I only installed the driver for the usb cable. The cd that i have only has the usb cable driver, it doesnt have the modem driver. When I check in the device manager after I connected the phone to my pc, there is a usb port under "Ports(coms&Lpt)". I'm not even sure if the pc detects the phone because nothing shows up. I had a motorola phone and when i connect it, there's a "safely remove...." icon in the system tray. Please help

Go to Control Panel, select Phone and Modem Option. If it is the first time to use this Option, it will ask for the Country and area code and dialing function etc. After you enter those, it will open another window, select Modems and click Add and select Samsung GPRS modem. Make sure your phone is connected to your PC first.

After i click Modems and Add, I don't see that samsung... modem. It only lists a few standard ...bps modems. I've tried all the softwares from the samsung website for my samsung e105 phone and they don't connect my phone to my pc.
