TO get my ringtones on my phone, i use -edited-. I set my phone as a C2000 and have't had any problems getting my ringers or walpapers on there. The only disadvantage is that the wallpapers aren't quite the right size. With the ringtones however, i have had no problems, since i made the ringers myself. if you need me to convert anything let me know, cause i have a program that lets me convert files to mmf format (which all LG and Samsng phones use for ringters). But yeah thats how i put them on my phone, i just neede to use my wireless web feature

How do you set your phone as a C2000? And what software do you use to move things back and forth?

Thanks for any info.

I agree about the RAZR part, but for the most part this forum is pretty helpful. Honestly i think the phone is still too new to have anything for it. IT's no big. I've found ways of getting my ringtones on there, i just had to use wireless web

icon_ermm.gif Did you use Mobilatory.com?? I tried using that but the website doesn't work for MP3s or WMAs. how did u do it icon_question.gif

you can use mobilatory.com but it still costs money to connect to the web on your phone and/or recieve the media.. so there isnt a software that is like mobilephonetools where you can just plug your phone to your pc and transfer images/tones?

It;s not avalable for the CE500 yet, as the phone is too new. IF there was anything it would be The LG Contents Bank program, they have listed on the site, But i have tried a couple different settings, and nothing seems to work with it just yet.

couldnt you just use an sd card read/writer and upload ringtones onto the card then pop it back in your phone and use them as ringtones? i know it will work using images but not sure about the ringtones.

I tried that, it doesn't work even with the images. THe flash card on this is supposed to be exclusivly for the mp3 player, I tried putting stuff on the card, and all it reads are the mp3s, and it tell me how much free space is on there, thats it.

Um, no LOL, the flash card isn't the problem. The phone's software only reads mp3 files in the attachment. Different flash cards won't make a difference. I've got 2 from different companies, there really isn't any difference.

i think its stupid that u cant set the mp3 as ringtones.. it would be easy and cool because all you would have to do is make the ringtone short and save it as an mp3 and call it day.. =/ bastards they just want our money... well hopefully they come out with a prog like mobile phone tools SOON.
