If I buy an Unlocked Treo 650 and have a Cingular sim card with unlimited MediaNet, will I be able to access the internet with the Treo. The reason I am asking is that the unlimited medianet is $20/month and the unlimited data for the Treo 650 is $40.

the treo would not work on the unlimited medianet package, it needs to have the dataconnect package so you would have to change the plan.

Not true at all! The Treo WILL work with MediaNet. It dosen't "NEED" the data connect package.

Not true at all! The Treo WILL work with MediaNet. It dosen't "NEED" the data connect package. |
it will work... however the device can only access WAP enabled sites...if the OP is OK with that all is good
what it boils down to is what you need access to

Not true. I have media net unlimited and i can browse any website and i havent been charged.
