hi all,
I got a razr v3 as a gift, but it was not bought from cingular directly. I can use the phone but the web does not work. First it said GPRS network not available. I configured websessions using some of the directions on this site, though I don't see mMode on my phone. Now, it says network not available. How can I use my browser on this phone. Any ideas?
Thanks

are you subscribe to MediaNet (Cingular) or mMode (ATTws)?

try this:
From the stand by screen, press the Menu key.
Scroll to "Settings", then press Select.
Scroll to "Network", then press Select.
Scroll to "Network Setup", then press Select.
With "Band" highlighted, then press Change.
Scroll to "Automatic, 850/1900 or 900/1800", then press Select.
Select Done.
The device will search for all available networks.

I see Cingular and the triangle symbol, but when I got to my browser to connect, it says network not available. It is looking for GPRS.

I just recently bought an unlocked Razr v3 phone from ebay. I seem to be having problems accessing the internet though. I tried all the settings that you have listed here and both CSD #'s but when i try to connect it says "data server not available". I've been trying to fix the settings but nothing. I don't know what else to do. So far everything else seems to be working as far as txt msg & all. The browser just doesn't seem to want to work. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
