hi,
I have just bought a nokia 6230i and I downloaded some mp3's onto the 32mb card that came with it. I used Nokia PC Suite and a usb conection. Now when I try and add more songs or delete the songs that are on there it will not save to the card. It seems to copy from computer ok but when I go to the phone, the songs are not there.
I have tried formatting the card -no avail
Additionally I have tried to use a 256mb card from a nokia 6230 that i used to own and it wont pick up any of the songs that I know are on the card.
Any ideas??

For running MP3 on the cell phone u need to download UltraMP3 software additionally which otherwise should have been on your earlier phone, just by adding songs on 32 MB card wont do. try this,

You know that the 6230i is
a) not a Symbian OS smartphone and can't use that program
and b) the phone can play mp3s without any additional software
?
Which "part" of PC Suite are you using? Phone Browser? Audio Manager?

I am using Nokia pc suite 6.41.6 and i have used both the phone browser and audio manager with no luck on either.

You should try the latest version of PC Suite, it is 6.6 and you can download it for free from the Nokia website.

Tried downloading nokia suite 6.6 and still not working. I have taken the phone back to the place that i bought it from and they think its a problem with the memory card or the phone so I will have to send it in for them to look at. Thanks 4 the help tho
