Hi,
I have a Nokia 6600, and want to know how to move all my saved
SMS messages from my phone memory to my card memory.
I've changed the settings so that any further messages will be saved
to my card, but how can I move my old messages? Any help would
be appreciated... Thanks...

Hi DeathByStereo,

What exactly did you try to do using FExplorer?
I dont know if you have tried this or not:
Go to C:\System\Mail
You will find a lot of folders named 0, 1, 2, 3 etc... within folders like 00001001_S. You can copy these folders to E:\System\Mail
This should work. If you have already tried this, then i think its difficul to get the solution of your problem. All the best with it...

A word of advice... DO NOT erase or modify the index file... i messed in the system\mail folder once and will NEVER ever do it again... icon_wacko.gif

Yeah, also there 2 softwares around on some websites which convert messagest to *.txt files and then you can easily transfer them to your computer or another mobile device, either using IR or Bluetooth. I dont know if I can name there here in our forum, is it allowed? 'Coz these are free softwares.

All the best...

i make it in 3 step:

step 1, use memory of phone.

step2, clear the folder "mail" e:\system\mail (on memory card).

step3, change to use at memory card.

The phone will then ask if you want to copy messages to the memory, answer yes

it's all

I expect them to be useful, pardon for my english
