hie I put in a new security code for my nokia 6100 and now I've forgoton it but The thing is I got a new line altogether so I need help reseting this code or even unlocking .Is there anyone who can help ? please I'm stuck

If you changed your phone's security code and forgot it but you can still use your phone to make calls, send messages, etc, then I recommend trying gammu (search for it on Google). You'll be able to find out your security code via IR or bluetooth connection to your phone from your PC.
However, if you changed your security level and your phone is completely locked, I think you should go to a Nokia service center.
This tip is to find out forgotten security code, NOT unlocking your phone so it can be used on other providers.

I have a similar problem; I put in a new security code in my nokia 6100 but now I cannot seem to remember it as I did so long ago and didn't ask me for it as I used to use my sim card in it.
Could someone send me a a code to reset the code as I want to give the phone to my mum for her to use with her sim.

You should always make a note of important codes somewhere just in case this happens, our memories are not infinite

Be sure to type "1" on the garbled part. It should work.
