Hi all, going CRAAAZY here!
I have a K750 02 branded phone, and here is the fault.
With Memory stick inserted and phone switched OFF, if i switch the phone on it hangs on the S/E logo, for ever, and will not go any further untill I remove the stick, then it will continue to boot. If i re-insert the card whislt its still booting it will continue and everything on the phone works fine, except for the memory stick functions. (Phone also works fine without stick inserted.) If i go to folders and choose ""Format ext. Memory" it tells me "memory stick not inserted" Neither does the card show up on my pc when connected via the DCU-60.
Here is a list of things I've tried.
Setings reset
Reset all (Full re set)
Fashed Firmware to: K750i_R1N035_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT
Flashed FS to: K750i_R1N035_FS_EU1.DVT
CDA = CDA102337/9 - Europe1
Further info:
Client Version 14.0
**** READING CID STARTED ****
Turn off the phone.
Hold "C" button and plug USB cable.
Phone attached!
Detected SonyEricsson: K750/D750/W800.
Status Ok, OTP Close, CID36, PAF1
IMEI: *************
Phone CID 36, Color RED
You must use CID36 Flash Files For this phone!
Press button - "Get Files From Web" and download free firmware
Execution Time - 00:00:04
Done!
Phone is not very old, bought from a friend.
Card is confirmed good as it works in other K750 phones, and other cards wont work in mine.
Any ideas anyone?
Craig

If the phone functions just fine without the memory stick and/or starts having problems once you insert the memory stick...AND the computer won't even see the memory stick...
my bet is that the memory stick is defective.
go out get a new memory stick...cheaper than doing something to the phone that will make it a) one hell of an expensive paperweight or 2) leave you without a most excellent phone while you send it in for repairs that may not be necessary.

Looks like a visit to a service center, or fw flash is in order.
I seem to recall reading here, or on another mobile forum site, that some firmware versions had memory card problems...honestly, i can't recall where or if that was the issue..it just rings a bell for some reason (I could be completely off the mark, too).

Hi
It's a brand new card, and it works fine in other 750's, but i'll try it. Not sure I know anyone with a Pro Duo reader though.
Thank You
