well in the maunal i saw that i could reset the phone but i woule need to go into the menu and i cant even acess the menu because its locked. im beggining to wonder if it is even possible to get back my phone.

Alrighty then, the telus people are jerks and I cant get through to Samsung. This is messed up im just cancelling my phone from telus cuz there dicks. I really need my phone i need to deal.

Damn... sorry, it had to go that far. If it was a GSM samsung phone, it'd be a lot easier to help you [and probably a lot of knowledgeable members here would jumped in faster than me], but Samsung CDMA phones are a lot harder to work with.
It's a shame, CDMA IS a superior technology, really. Better capacity, better capabilities, etc. You can tell, especially if current GSM operators are starting using W(ideband)-CDMA as the next-generation means of wireless communication.
However, in the United States and Canada, you can tell that CDMA carriers act like jerks here (Verizon Wireless and Telus comes to mind). And the full capabilities of CDMA is definitely not implemented. After all, only in the U.S./Canada does CDMA carriers "overcharge" (in comparison to GSM carriers) on service, sell crippled/inferior CDMA phones for a higher price than GSM phones. A real disappointment if you see phones and service offered by SK Telecom in South Korea and KDDI in Japan and come back here.
