CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I HAD A SAMSUNG S105 WITH T-MOBILE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS. THE PHONE WORKED PERFECT ALMOST ANYWHERE BUT NOT INSIDE MOST (ABOUT95%) OF ALL BUILDINGS. I RECENTLY UPGRADED TO A MOT. RAZRV3 BECAUSE IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW PHONE AND I THOUGHT THE RECEPTION PROBLEM WAS THE S105. GUESS WHAT I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE RAZR. PHONE WORKS GREAT ANYWHERE BUT INSIDE BUILDINGS? DOESN'T WORK INSIDE ANY OF THE SCHOOLS I'VE BEEN IN AND HASN'T WORK IN ANY OF THE OTHER BUILDINGS I HAVE TRIED. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM? WHAY DID YOU DO? HELP! I LIKE THE PHONE AND TMOBILE BUT THIS STINKY RECEPTION INSIDE BUILDINGS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. T-MOBILE DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE WHY?

1. Turn off the caps!!
2. T-mobile makes no guarentee about coverage in buildings. Your best bet is to use pcc (compass.t-mobile.com) and check the buildings address. If the building is in an area that gets signal, use my t-mobile to send an email to customer service reguarding signal. A field tech can then contact you and evaluate your probelm. Also note that the 1900mHz band does not penetrate concrete that well. On the other hand, your razr can pixk up 850 mHz, which penetrates buildings better. Try a manual network sometime while u are in a building and see if you can select any other network.

thanks for the info. as far as caps go that was an accident. next time someone asks for info. an anaswer would be OK without a lecture on CAPS.
P.S. i don't think your supposed to use excessive puctuation either so follow your own suggestion next time.

depending on the building u go in and what the walls around u are like u wont get as good reception as u would outside. it does depend on the phone as well

Concrete wall and Basement will make a huge different signal on the outdoor >>
my best friend working inside a 10 story high concrete building .. building is 4000 sq each floor .. he only get some signal close to the entrance .. but once he step into the elevator is all dead .. but recently he bought a V330 phone .. and he told me he can pick up 1 or 2 bar inside the building .. he is very happy about that now
and my personal also think the v330 had a better reception than v3
