Anyone ever have this happen?....if I highlight prev....it goes to a Media Net page, but will not let me access any links.....help...does nothing...[]....takes me to a Submit key...which doesn't do anything either...I even brought it to my local Cingular Store...they couldn't do anything and suggested I call Motorola....no help there....they insist its a Cingular problem......Call Cingular support...told by them that an unlocked phone can't access Medi Net....yeah right....gave no other info!
I am lost...I have an unlocked Razr already (not pink)....and it works just fine!
CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!!!!
I think the phone came from a seller In the U.K. if that helps

Same problem....bought pink razr from UK....unlocked it....changed settings and I am getting the same thing you are. I do hope we can get some answers. There has to be someone out there with the same issue that was resolved.

Have either of you found a solution to this problem? I am also having the same issue - with a black Razr purchased off eBay which clearly was configured for European use. THe settings are all correct, but MediaNET doesn't work properly and displays as you have described. I suspect it is a case of Cingular preloading a proprietary version of the browser into their RAZR's that they cell with their branding. In other words, you need the firmware to be the Cingular version for it to work. Not sure if such a thing is available, but will try to find and post if successful. Otherwise could be some settings issue, but I doubt it.

On the lighter side, the browser works fine with Yahoo and Moto sites so there is still good browsing capability.

Please post if you hear of a solution.

Thanks.

You'll need to flash it with a Cingular-branded Monster Pack to get it right. It is so important when you buy from eBay that you only buy a Cingular branded phone with a Cingular flex. It is not necessary, but it makes it much easier to use on the network.

I also have the same problems as you all do. This pisses me off, I paid enough money for this, that it should work correctly. So basically i'm out of luck? I just want a site with ringtones and graphics and all that in a easy setup. Did I just waste money on this phone?

If anyone can help me, please do.

also, the call volume on the razr is pathetic. I have it up to 7, which from what i've seen is full volume, and I can barely hear the person. I had a LG1300 that blew this volume out of the water. This alone is making me reconsider this purchase.

I bought a 235$ paperweight.
