Hi, guys.
I have a pretty easy question , ive gone back to using a samsung and just bought a 2nd hand d500 . I still have my old T100 serial port cable and tried to use it to transfer files, but the computer doesnt seem to recognise the phones attached.
Is there a driver i need?
If not, i will just get a usb or dongle.

This one is easy. T100 cable is not good for D500. You have to get the usb cable for D500.

No problem. FYI, the cable for D500 is PCB113BSEC/STD as per below link from Samsung:
