The nokia 6600 starts with a blank screen then shows the wording Nokia in the bottom of the screen that disappears after a few seconds. Same thing happens two more times and then the phone shuts down completely. Very strange. Any ideas what to do?

are you on cingular, my phone is doing the same thing and when I contacted cingluar they told me that it was due to change in weather, and that they are doing tower upgrades. I am not really sure if I beleive them or not

Nature to Moderator:two days ago i tried to install a software through an mmc and the phone just went blank.Now if i turn it on it just shows NOKIA at the bottom of the screen then it goes on without booting.It does this for like 4 times then permanently goes off untill i initiate the sequence again...What to do?

U can do this press * 3 call potoon and switch on power in the same time
and your mobile will back new[/b]

Barburouge, so what did u do to ur fone?? i have d same problem.. i used cingular as my network on my local sim that's on roaming.. & i went to a local nokia authorized service center they say i have to send it to nokia.. & that's all the way in florida! anyone know of other ways to have my phone flashed in SoCal area? i'd be more comfortable bringing my phone over to a shop.. thanx

they can't fix it.. they say i have to send it over to nokia.. would it be possible for another cellphone shop to flash it? which is not authorized by nokia?

Only authorized Care Centres are able to flash, everything else is normally illegal.
