I am trying to help a friend out. She is on what, i was told "Texas 69 plan", per a cingular tech. This plan is very old and when the data was transferred it was left out. What she and i are trying to find out is the area of coverage. When and where does she go into roaming. With her old phone, it used to tell her, but since she's changed phones this is not provided. If possible, i like to find the plan and area map.

Does anyone know, whrere i can find this information? i was told, per cingular tech, that they would investigate. But they have yet to get back with me....Thanks, rd

a poor response from the customer service rep....
you are asking a responsible question that deserves a responsible answer...the customer care rep should be able to get that information in short order ..or at least within 5 monutes of searching... I would call them back and ask the same question... if you dont get an answer... ask for a supervisor... someone is not doing their job...

i will get the model of the phone and more information on the rate she is paying. from what she is telling me, it's a heck of a deal and hates to give it up. as i stated earlier, the tech at cingular stated her new phone does not show when she would be roaming. of course, she's gone until monday and i will follow up with her.
