I have a nokia 3650 with software version being 2.5.
I want to know if a 256 mb mmc card will be compatible.

Apart from the one that nokia sells, i would like to know about any other companies that make good quality mmc cards and sell them at reasonable rates.

What is the difference between a mmc card and sd card??

Phones with firmware 3.16 or higher can use 256mb cards.
Bring it to your nearest nokia service centre and they'll upgrade it for you.

The main differences between sd and mmc is that SD (secure digital) are cheaper and you can password protect your files.

Yes, only mmc cards will work on the 3650. DO NOT BUY A SD CARD!!!

My 128mb card is made my Memorex and I have had no problems so far. I bought it for €59 in my local computer shop.

What's the easiest way to find out your 3650 firmware version?
