Help!! I have a Moto V551 that I bought on Ebay as a backup to my Moto V180. I use Cingular. I keep it on most of the time and lately it has frozen on me twice. Once when I pressed the send key and it just shut off. I was able to just power it back on. The second time I was scrolling through the received calls list. The second time the screen on the outside and inside stayed on. I could not shut it off. The only way I could shut it off was by removing the battery. The firmware is R472_G_08.18.40R. I'm wondering if a firmware upgrade would help this or am I hosed. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

In rare instances earlier versions of Motorola V551 product may have experienced problems with excessive dropped calls and/or poor battery life.
The firware your phone is running is listed in cingular's equiptment issues log. the options for fixing it are to power cycle within every three days, or else we follow standard exchange procedures. with your's not being eligible for warrenty, a firmware flash should fix the problem.

Thanks... I have downloaded the reflash files from Old_Fool but I am not sure how these work. I have read the Sticky post on reflashing but I don't have the Motorola folder on My PC to do the flash. I have the Mobile Phone tools but I think this is different. Does anyone know how I can get this? I went to Motorola's site but that wasn't much help??
Thanks in advance
