Yay, another small and anoying issue. lol. I got the data cable working now, and got the nack for getting to to work within a minute, and so I got my own ringtones on there. Now for a new issue. I cant use those ringtones on my cell for anything. They work on the phone, they play when you preview them, but when you got to select them for the Phone's ring tone, Or if you try to select it for the alarm, it states "File Not Copyrighted. Cannot Use As A Ring Tone" I wanted to know if there was a way around this.
At the same time, I was wanting to know if there was a way to tweak the Nokia so I can set my own Custom Ring Tones for my contacts (It doesnt let me select Open Gallery like other areas that you select your ring tone, just lists the Phone's Default Ringers).
Any info or Firmware updates on this subject would be awsome!
Thanks!

Could it be you've got a branded phone and your provider forbids to use your own ringtones so they can sell their ringtones to you?

Possibly. It does have Telus branded onto the phone. And also, with my busted Nokia 3205i (Screen smashed), when I am trying to remove the ringtones I bought it says "Operation Failed. The item is Copyright protected". So yea, does anyone know of a way perhaps to get a around it? Maybe like get a different frimware? And if so, does any one know where I can download it? And how to install it? ^_^

Yes, an unbranded firmware would help. But downloading Nokia firmware is illegal, because it is't public domain.
Also normally with a normal data cable you won't be able to flash the phone, there are special cables needed.

What if you were to edit the Mid files to state that they ARE copyrighted? Would that maybe work?
