as i know, Samsung V205 has many hiden function code like the format below:
1. *2767*63342# auto restart indicates "insert sim"
2. *2767*3855# auto restart indicates "insert sim"
3. *2767*2878# auto restart indicates "insert sim"
4. *2767*927# auto restart indicates "insert sim"
5. *2767*7822573738# auto restart indicates "insert sim"
dose sony Ericsson t616 has any special hiden function code?
for exsample:
1. i set a phone password, every time power on, i have to input the correct password to use my phone. if i forgot this password, does any special code i can use to refresh it without by data cable or special cracking software???
2. if phone locked because i input 3 times wrong pin number, does any special code i can use to refresh it without by data cable or special cracking software???
3. does any special code i can use to check "Error LOG". This is the way to know, does any one try to crack your phone password, if he input wrong password, there will be a message in the log.
Samsung V205 has those function code.
Any one can help me on that???
Thanks a lot!

If you have pressed the wrong PIN code three times you need to enter the PUK code, as far as I know there is no way around this.
The only "secret" codes I know is right, *, left, *, left, left, *. This combination will bring you to the service meny, quite fun but not very usefull.
There is also some combination with # and * that displays the phones IMSI number (dont know it by hand).
These are, as far as I know, the only codes available if you are running an official software.

I just got a Sony Ericsson T616 (' ') and was messing with the special code stuff. The advice to try *#06# to get info from the phone did not work, but then I tried several other combos and "send" and got message back "UNKNOWN APPLICATION" skipping around to *#77# resulted in a message back that some "Service activated". And *#76# returns "Service not available". Seems like there is far more to this thing than meets the eye.
Also, I am still look for a way to delete pics and sounds that Cingular added that I don't want as well as remove the damm CINGULAR header from my desktop screen. (' ')
Any suggestions?

When I did that, my phone has 99 bars of reception and 99 batteries.. oops..
for the >*<<*<* trick, you do it at the standby screen (where you can see the wallpaper, without the icons). and don't mind what's showing in the screen, just continue to press the buttons and when you finish pressed all the button you will reach a secret menu. I should work on every T616s

Ok, broke my old Sony Ericsson T616 so I bought 2 off Ebay, turns out the new 2 are for AT&T and the old one is Cingular so when I put my Cingular SIM card in all I get is incorrect SIM, I was messing arround with some numbers on the keypad and found this menu and it says:
Network
Network Subset
SP
Corporate
Accross from these there are pictues of locks and every one but the Network has a picture of an unlocked lock.
When I open them up I can type in codes or something but it's only asteriks when I type stuff in, is this how I unlock my phone?
I need help with this, thank you
