I tried to make a loop but this is what happens when it plays on the cell;
http://anime.n2-network.com/pics/music/loop%20error.wav
Here is the file I'm trying to make the loop from;
http://anime.n2-network.com/pics/music/air_ring35_increase.mp3
And here's the actual loop;
http://anime.n2-network.com/pics/music/air_ring35_loop.wav
Anyone know what's with the glitches in the middle? I know my seamless looping sucks, but I'm pretty sure that's not the cause...

Someone else made a ringtone for me, and I get the same weird noise in between.
Is my phone faulty?
I hope not =/

No, I don't think there's anything wrong with your phone.
Just remember that the phone's ringer mechanism has its limits.
I'm not that musically inclined, so forgive my crappy terminology, but i think the pitch/tone of the music seems to be too high (high as in feedback from a microphone) than what the phone can handle, so it just clips the sound at that spot.
I think I used to have that song in MMF format (doesn't sound exactly the same like the mp3, but I think the melody was the same), but after I've formatted my HDD about 2-3 weeks ago, I can't find it atm.
BTW, Samsung X426 has a better ringer mechanism than the phones in the E31x series. With the E31x series (newer and better for the most part than the X42x series phones), you'd hear a lot of "fuzz" in that one if you tried to play it.

I didn't think the end note was that high....hmmm, could be the problem though.

No, not the end note. There was a high note somewhere in the middle.
Look, if I can find the MMF file, I'll upload it and you see if its usable to you. K?
Edit: Okay, here it is. Get it here and as fast as you can (1 week/25 download retention):

For both music, I've synced the LED for you, so the blinker should go with the music (I hope), but I didn't test it physically on the phone, only on software.
1.mmf is one that I've edited from #2. Plays directly, but instrument has changed somewhat (maybe it sounds a little more "softer" than 2). 40/64 poly only (it should work with your X426)
2.mmf is the original form that I've found it in... but it has this annoying ~3 second gap before you can actually hear anything. This one is actually 16/40/64 poly (so it should work with your X426 and even older phones too)

Uh, wow. You are pretty amazing. Where in the world did you manage to find that? You must have recognized the song and got the full MP3, or did you make it yourself?
Either way, both worked well, #1 was a bit too quiet.
If you made those could you tell me which software you used? I love the first but I'd like to try and speed it up a bit and raise the volume.
Thank you very much for uploading those, simply amazing. You are a great help.

Actually, I didn't even know the name of the tune. I didn't make anything. I've merely given you the file I've had on my computer, except with a few modifications (there was no LED flashing in the original one)
I've heard it before in my MMF file collection and the mp3 file sounded familiar, so when I heard the one that sounded the same as your MP3, I've uploaded it.
I used PSMPlayer 5.0 to make #1 from version #2. You can also raise the volume of the MMF with that software as well. However, it can't process "copy protected" MMF files. Version #2 was "copy protected" by default when I downloaded it earlier, so I had to unlock it and use PSMplayer then.
PSMplayer should be available rather readily...
Edit: Go get it if you need it, PSMPlayer 5.41 in English: http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic17320.html

Well you did a hell of a job, however could you tell me what settings you used to make the #1? I just messed with it but it must be defaulting to a different instrument (same one as in #2) but I'm just looking for a slightly louder #1 instrument.
