Hey all,
I've been following some of the mods, tweaks, and hacks around here after getting my Razr v3 a few days ago. After just today, I've expanded the memory, made my handset louder, installed java games sent from the computer, and set up mobile phone tools to a working order, with both bluetooth and USB.
Anyways, after freeing up that memory and deleting all those original polyphonics, I couldn't get into my ring styles. I checked the FAQ and did the PST fix, which helped some. Now I can change it somewhat, but only if the entry I want is in the first or last 3 or 4 entries. The old ringers are in the list and it crashes when you try to scroll through them! How can I get rid of these? Thanks in advance!

delete the two .db files in the audio folder and restart your phone.

I deleted those files, but that made it worse, now it instantly crashes when I go into the Loud/soft details.

OK I did this again, and then after deleting those files I went back and did the fix a second time, then restarted the phone. Everything is great now! Thanks guys!

the files automatically create themselves at phone start up.All they are is a list of files, in this case, the ring tones. #1, if you delete everything in the audio folder, P2KMan will not read the folder.I suggest P2K tool, select upload dir - a/audio and upload a single file, now your audio folder will show in P2KMan if thats what u want to use.
You should set all ringers to silent or vibe and turn ringer ID off. If you dont have your computer nearby and run into this problem, you can just go into media- sounds, pick a sound that is there and set it to both line 1 and line 2! Then you should be able to access ring detail.
All it is doing is trying to figure out why the riung options says something is there, and the db. file backs that up, and it thinks something is wrong.
On some phones you might have to do a master clear instead of just restarting the phone.
