My T-mobile service is good as long as I'm outside. If I'm inside, however, I have to be holding my phone at a max of 5 feet from the window. Motorolas ( I have a RIZR) seem to have a little more of a problem getting a signal inside than a Samsung, but the difference is only about a bar or so.
