2 questions
1. I got the mp3 to become a ringtone, however, there is no noise when a person calls, what do I do?
2. When changing the ringtone through settings, sound settings, then incoming calls, is there a way to do that for multiple groups?

If u mean caller ringtones u have to go to the actual file then click options/set as then choose caller ringtones and that should take u to ur phonebook.. just choose who u want to set that ring for.
Hope that helped

U should have got the cd with ur usb right? well one thing i did figure out is that u have to settings/phone settings / usb settings and set it as modem instead of mass storage, then u should be able to xfer files on to ur phone with the software on the cd.. "Mass Storage" is the default..
Hope that helps u

Nick, you have to say how you set up your ringthone. did you do it as a 3gp? If so, You only have to go to groups options and edit. After that, change the ringtone you want. You could have one ringtone for the group and if you want, you could put a different ringtone to a person in the same group. I hope this help you at all.

The problem is that when I convert the music to 3gp it works fine on the mp3 player, and lets me assign it to people, however, when that person calls, there is no sound. The phone is not on silent, and it rings whenever any other ring tone is applied. I hope someone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it...

Nick that is very weird, ur actually converting them? From mp3 to 3gp? All I have done is just change the mp3 TO 3gp, not converting. Have u tried this with more than one file? Mine has worked fine.. Sorry buddy. All I can say is make sure it's a mp3 first before u change it.
On another note, does anyone know how to do animated gifs? Like the T-Mobile default one? Now THAT would be too cool!
If anyone knows the hows and tos for this, please share!
