I'm glad that worked fer ya. icon_smile.gif As for the lights....haven't dabbled into that yet. Sorry. I would like to soon tho...but gotta do more research before I tackle that...don't want to screw anything up.

I do know there should be a program listed on the Motomodders site in the downloads section and I think it's called FunLights. There's also funlights packages you can download there for different light schemes. Lemme know how it goes.

Do you know how to program the lights? The event lights are set, but I want to program the colors myself. Example...The lights flash green when you're charging, but I'd like to see them flash blue or pruple. Do you know anything about that? That's my next conquest for the ROKR.

Not only that, but your MP3 that you want to extract for a ringtone would have to be 30 seconds long. So somehow you'd have to edit the MP3 on your playlist. Dunno, just seems easier to just do MP3 ringtones the regular way....

Actually, that's only so with ones you download from a site somewhere....when you do it with MPT or another program that you can just directly send to your phone thru a cable...then the limitiation isn't near that. I've actually had 45 second to full minute long clips and longer....just depends on the bitrate you set it at (size DOES matter...file size that is. LOL!). See, you can put that bitrate down pretty low and still have a high quality ringtone. After all, the ear buds are low powered and the speakers that are built in are low powered as well. It's not as if you are playing it on a 500 watt stereo system......so experiment with the bitrates and see what I mean.

Currently, I tend to use 40 kbps to make my ringtones. I still amplify them so that the sound is nice and loud, yet not distorted. You'd be surprised what you can do.

I already have the usb cable and charger which came from an old motorola phone that i had and both seems to work. However i am not able to put songs in itunes or do anything with transfering or syncing as well. hi my name is clairetha and i have upgraded to the motorokr. i thought that maybe this would be helpful. if you would just keep all your tunes on your pc you can buy a bluetooth adapter which doesn't cost very much at all. this will make your pc bluetooth. now with the phone being bluetooth you can now transfer tunes from your pc to your phone. it actually works with any bluetooth phone or device. hope this helps. icon_smile.gif
